Prof. Dr. Sasikumaran S, is the former Professor and Chairman of the department of computer engineering of King Khalid university, Ministry of education, Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Sasikumaran received BSc(Engg) & MSc(Engg) degrees in Electrical Engineering from Kerala University and PhD in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (India). He started his career as Assistant Professor in NIT Calicut, Reader & Founder Head of IT department , CUSAT and Professor (Computer applications) at the Institute of management (IMG),Government of Kerala, Trivandrum. He has 16+ years of international experience as professor in computer science in universities (Private & Public) such as Multimedia University (Malaysia), Philadelphia University (Jordan) and King Khalid University(Saudi Arabia).He has 35 publications in Indian and International Journals and Conferences to his credit. He has a total of 40+ years of teaching, research experience in engineering colleges in india and abroad.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE, Life Member & Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India) and Life member of Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD).
