Prof. (Dr.) Jai M. Paul,

Former Executive DirectorICCS College of Engineering and Management, Mupliyam, Thrissur. Prof. (Dr.) Jai M. Paul has completed his M.E in Civil Engineering (Major - Environmental Engineering) and received his PhD from UVCE, Bangalore. He has 25 years of teaching and consultancy experience.  He has presented his research findings at national and international conferences held in India and outside India. Prof. (Dr.) Jai M. Paul has authored three textbooks, Water Supply Engineering (2019), Waste Water Engineering (2020) and Sustainable Engineering (2022). His areas of interest include Water and Waste Water Engineering, Remote Sensing, Geographical Information Systems, Environmental Impact Assessment, Solid Waste Management and Computer Aided Design. He is a life member of the Institution of Engineers and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). He has been actively engaged in a diverse range of academic and professional activities, showcasing a commitment to fostering education and contributing to various institutions. Their involvement extended to expert roles, where they contributed as a member of the Expert Visit Committee for APJAKTU, Thiruvananthapuram, and as an Academic External Auditor for APJAKTU. Additionally, hisr expertise was utilized in setting question papers for Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi. He is also served as a Resource Person for Empanelled Training Institutes at Rajagiri Campus, Kalamassery, and Empanelled Training Institutes, Calicut University, Calicut. Furthermore, his contributions reached beyond state borders as a Ph.D. Examiner for both Visvesvaraya Technological University in Belgavi, Karnataka, and Bangalore University in Karnataka. Moreover, his engagement with All India Radio, where he has given technical talks multiple times, showcases his ability to communicate technical concepts to a broader audience. Furthermore, his contribution to shaping national-level educational policies is evident in his role as a member of the AICTE Expert Committee. Collectively, these activities underscore his significant and multifaceted impact on the academic and technical landscape. Prof. (Dr.) Jai M. Paul received the prestigious Indira Gandhi National Service Scheme (NSS) Award for the Best NSS Programme Officer for the year 2016, from the Honorable President of India Sri. Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi., and the IMA-GCDA Award for the highest number of blood units donated, Kerala State Youth Welfare Board Jeevadhayani Award for the outstanding contribution in collecting consent forms of Blood Donors in Ernakulam District, Best Practice Researcher Award at International Conference and Exhibition on best practices for Sustainable Water, Wastewater & Energy Management -SWWEM 2016, APJ Abdul Kalam Social Engineer Award by Social Research Society and Innovative Research & Dedicated Professor Award by the Society of Innovative Educationalist & Scientific Research Professional, Chennai 2020. He delivered technical talks in All India Radio several times. In 2019, he received the Good Service Entry from the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Kerala.
