Yes, this is a real term that most candidates use to describe this 7-day-long training regiment. There is only one reason why this exists, and that’s to test the connection between mind and body. The body will definitely give up, but can their mind provide them with enough strength and willpower to move forward? Well, only the real heroes can tell that story, and here is a quick glimpse of just how these heroes take these trainings head on:

• Shine and Set: Sunshine begins with a 20 km morning run and once the sunsets, 20 km night marches begin with an additional 60 kg load on their back.
• Weekly Goal: 120 km marches with that same 60 kg load. That’s 6 days of non-stop training or one day of break due to excess exhaustion.
• 4 hours of Sleep: Training goes on for 20 hours each day, and the sleep time almost never arises. Often going below 4 hours in the entire week.
• Death Crawl: This is the upgraded version of the night runs, where they go down an 800-meter, thigh-high mud-filled route with a 25 kg load.
• Obstacle Run: A 2.5 km obstacle course.
• Fight the Bullet: Live fire drills.
